Engage your inner child with a unique foam party experience. Here are ten amazing ideas to make your Foam Party a memorable event.
1 Disco Foam Party
ABBA's Dancing Queen or Y.M.C.A will never be the same again when you add foam to the dance floor. For an extra cost we can provide a speaker for your foam party through which you can play your favourite disco dance music. For night parties, some clients set up coloured lights to add to the disco effect. Don’t forget the Congo line or Zorba’s dance … they are hilarious in a foam setting.
2 Foam Dance-Off
Another amazing foam party idea is to extend the foam disco party theme and host a dance-off competition. Participants can show off their best dance moves while enjoying the challenge of dancing in foam.
3 Finding Nemo Foam Party
Purchase a Nemo plush toy (not a hard one). Walk around in the suds with the Nemo toy under your foot and at some time let it go. Tell the participants they must try to find Nemo somewhere in the foam suds. It’s like a traditional treasure hunt only the treasure is hidden by foam. Give a prize or a clap to the person who finds Nemo.
4 Foam Party Fund Raiser
For your school or community fete set up the foam party in our large foam pit, or in a community hall or auditorium, and charge participants to play (or dance if it’s a disco). Better still, find a sponsor for the foam party activity and advertise it as a free fete activity. Make sure you give them adequate exposure in your marketing material and on the day of the event. Sponsors love unique activities such as this and it will attract patrons to your event.
5 Find a Partner Foam Party
How about this amazing foam party idea? If the excitement of being in the foam wanes a little, add a game such as find a partner e.g., everyone has to find a partner who is the same age as them; or find a partner who has the same colour eyes or hair or clothing; or find a partner who is the same height.
6 Themed Foam Party
Invite everyone to come to the party wearing something related to your theme. It might be a “Blue Party” where participants must wear something blue (an old tie, a blue wrist ribbon, a blue scarf etc). Or, they have to wear a hat or cap to the party (give a prize to the best hat, the most colourful, the one that didn’t make an effort LOL, etc).
7 Infinity Volleyball Foam Party
This foam party idea is truly amazing. No doubt you have all played volleyball where there is a boundary, a net and two teams. The difference with Infinity Volleyball is that rather than having two competing teams, there is no net and participants work together on a foam filled play area to keep the ball in the air. Invite the participants to play infinity volleyball with a beach ball (not a hard ball). Their objective is to work as a team to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible. If the ball lands in the foam they have to start again. So, not just one team wins … the whole group wins by working together to keep the ball in the air!
Hint – give them a goal such as 35 hits to start with and keep increasing it while their enthusiasm increases. We have seen a foam party team score 101 hits … can your group beat that?
8 Foam Limbo
Set up a foam limbo station where participants have to limbo under a colourful bar while navigating the slipperiness of the foam play area. Gradually lower the bar after each round to increase the difficulty. The person who can go the lowest without touching the bar or falling wins.
9 Foam Tag
Play a game of tag in the foam-filled area. The foam makes it more challenging to catch or evade your opponents, adding a unique twist to the classic game.
10 Lunar Foam Relay Race
Here is our last amazing foam party idea. Set up a relay race course in the foam area and divide participants into teams. Each team member must navigate the foam-filled obstacles and reach the finish line as fast as possible, tagging the next teammate to continue. It’s like running on the lunar moon surface.
Or, what about Imagination Relays? Instead of running, team members have to get to the other end of the course by acting out being a ballerina, an elephant, a kangaroo, a helicopter, a mountain climber, a back stroke swimmer … the acts are only as restricted as your imagination. Judge the best "actors".
Extras – have you ever thought about carnival food such as fairy floss, sno cones or popcorn for your foam party event? Ask us about it.
